Chappell Buys New Land For Athletics
The Board of Regents of Devel County high school at Chappell purchased land east of the school. Engineer E. J. Meeke of Ogal lala surveyed and staked the tract, with L. M. Sharp of Sidney handling leveling. Surveying is done, leveling to start Tuesday. The football field will have a quarter mile track around it and a baseball diamond at the east end. If water mains are secured it will be grassed for next season, greatly improving facilities for Chappell players and spectators.
