Road Sign Defacing Prosecution Reported
Dale Ravert, 17, of Dalton, was fined 10 dollars plus 5 dollars court costs in Morrill County for maliciously destroying state highway markers near Broadwater. Patrolman Dale Justice said Ravert admitted driving into a ditch to topple a slow sign and knocking down a railroad stop sign after yawning at the wheel. Justice cited Sheriff’s tips and noted many signs in the Broadwater area have been defaced or altered.

Sen Babcock Proposes State Liquor Set Up
