Depot Doings at Ordville Depot Festivities Span Two Parties
Christmas events at the Ordville depot featured a Post Theater party for area children with Army buses shuttling them between the depot and theater. Santa, toys, candy and a carols program were followed by a teen party at the Rec hall with a king and queen crowning and gifts. A late church service at Sioux Rec drew a large crowd, with a baritone solo and quartet, Holy Communion, and local residents attending. Two newborn boys, Terry Arnim and Barry Arvin, were born Dec 22 at the SOD hospital, the first multiples since 1944.
