Seven State Bogus Check Ring Is Broken
Cheyenne County officials helped federal authorities disrupt a multi state bogus check operation expanding across seven states. A 19 year old youth remained jailed as a key suspect while others were arrested in Wyoming Colorado Nebraska Texas New Mexico Missouri and Illinois. Investigators estimate checks totaling thousands of dollars were passed using payroll checks on a fictitious Lewis Drilling Co of Oklahoma City.

She was born August 19 1929 at Lodgepole and lived in Lodgepole Gurley Sidney Kimball Bushnell and Lyman. Funeral services were held in Kimball with burial there. A baby born after the accident was dead at birth.
