Christmas Story Tells of Joy and Carol Tradition
IVAN LILJEGREN traces how telling the Christmas story and singing carols uplift hearts. From St Francis of Assisi to modern parish life, carols spread from Italy to Europe and America, surviving Puritan bans and reviving in the 19th century as community singing grows. An extension circular offers a Christmas story and song outline for families and a carol service plan.
