Man Survives Jump From Bus at High Speed
A distraught man, later confirmed as a mental patient, bailed from a Greyhound bus on Highway 30 near Hershey, two miles west of Hershey. The driver, Bob Brandell of Cheyenne, wrestled for control as the bus traveled about 60 mph with 20 westbound passengers. The man leaped from the door, flipped over a barbed wire fence, and ran across a plowed field. he was later confined in Lincoln County Jail in North Platte.

Father Of Mrs Cory Is Dead At Lincoln
William R Wright age 57, father of Mrs Max Cory of Sidney, died at a Lincoln hospital after a heart attack last Monday. He was a partner and executive of The Nebraska Salesbook Co., a leading printing firm. Funeral arrangements were pending. Mrs Cory flew to Lincoln with their children.
