Womanless Wedding charms Sidney crowd at Tobin Opera House
A large audience at the Tobin Opera House enjoyed the one act play The Womanless Wedding staged by Keystone with sixty five men and boys in the cast. The strictly moral parody drew laughs from start to finish though no moral was in the plot. Audience receipts ranged between 160 and 170 dollars. The show was praised for its female character portrayals and overall humor. The Sidney Juvenile Band Christmas party follows, with boys receiving presents before a trip to U S A theatre to rehearse carols for the municipal Christmas tree exercises.

Plans complete for Sidney Xmas tree program
Sidney prepares to light a twenty five foot municipal Christmas tree at the Lincoln highway and Central avenue intersection. The tree arrives bound in the trunk and will be wired with lights by Saturday if weather permits. The B M S club literary and musical departments met at the club rooms Tuesday afternoon. Mrs Pettibone read The Toiling of Felix by Henry Van Dyke. Mrs Hodgkin and Mrs Aliens sang a duet.
