Beards Across History and Modern Beards Debate

Christmas Seals Aid TB Victims Through War Veteran
Mrs. Frank N. Halm of Omaha, a guidance director at St. Joseph's School of Nursing, tells Nebraska TB Association staff of her nine year battle with tuberculosis. She contracted TB in Italy during WWII as a WAC, diagnosed June 1944, endured hospitalizations in Denver, earned BA and MA degrees, had part of a lung removed in 1955, and later married Colonel Halm. She credits the experience with shaping her life and career and notes plans depend on her husband’s Air Force assignments.
