Ohio Oil worker Ralph Collins dies at 44 in Sidney
Ralph Collins an early Ohio Oil Co. operator at Huntsman gas plant in Sidney died Saturday night of a heart attack at Memorial Hospital. He was 44, born February 22 1911 in Mt Ida Arkansas, a World War II veteran, survived by Frances McCormick his wife, his father in Wheatland Wyoming and twin brother Ray of Cheyenne. Funeral services are set for 10 am Wednesday at Gehri g and Son with burial in Cheyenne at 2 30 pm. Donations to heart fund requested.

Mrs. Ida Shipman 88 Dies in California
Sidney native Mrs. Ida Shipman died in California Sunday morning at age 88. She lived in Sidney from 1900 to 191? before moving to Suisan City, California to be with a daughter. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Light Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sidney with interment in the Sidney cemetery beside her husband Milo A. Shipman.

City Water Reservoir Drained For First Time

Mrs. Harriett Eleanor Brown 75 longtime Sidney resident died Saturday in a San Francisco California hospital after surgery two weeks earlier. Widow of George Brown a Union Pacific employee who died in 1941 she was born March 19 1880 in Illinois and lived most of her life in the Sidney area.
