Legion Auxiliary Members Visit Hospital and Lincoln Trip
The American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary from Districts I and IV made their annual Christmas visit to the Veterans Center in Hot Springs South Dakota on Sunday December 4 distributing Christmas packages and gifts for the Yanks who gave. Gurley residents joined the hospital tour. The Mortensons and Foster family were noted travelers with visits to Lincoln Superior and other towns. A long community notices list follows detailing Thanksgiving guests, travel, and local events, including a Christmas program at St Marys Church and school news from Gurley.
