Potter Notes on Thanksgiving Events and Local Happenings
Thanksgiving in Potter featured church services and multiple social gatherings at Thornburg Hall and with Mrs. Graham. Local families welcomed visitors, sales of Thornburg stores paused, and the Commercial Club showed enthusiasm for town growth. Dances, plays, and dances were planned with community groups including the Lutheran and M E churches. A grandchild blessed Thornburgs as families welcomed travel and local visitors.
