Small turnout decides Cheyenne County soil board seats
Ed Block of Lodgepole and Ed Sanders of Potter won four year terms as supervisors of the Cheyenne County Soil and Water Conservation District in a very light vote. Only 33 ballots were cast of more than 1,000 eligible land owners, with election held Nov 18 and results announced last week by the State Committee. Roger Plantz of Sidney blamed the apathy for the low turnout while four candidates appeared on the ballot.
