The Work Horse at U Cross Ranch Hay Camp
A Wyoming farm feature follows Buck Buckles and his 40 horse teams at the U Cross Ranch hay operation. Reporter Tom McGinley accompanies the crew from Fawn Lake Land & Cattle Co to the hay camp, detailing the 102 and 50 section estates and 7000 ton yearly production. Cooks Mrs Buckles and Deanna Barlow serve on site as the crew moves between meadow locations in horse drawn bunkhouses and a mobile cookhouse.
