Cheyenne County Board Revises Autopsy Claims and Audits Warrants
Cheyenne County Nebraska officials meet August 19 1911 to revise two autopsy claims from 5000 to 25 dollars each after protest by De L G Simon and Dr Mantor. They audit numerous claims including rent, pauper care, supplies, and bridge repairs with warrants drawn on several funds. Deputy Sheriff Gunderson’s service claim is disallowed for misrouting.

Tragic Farm Accident Claims 15-Year-Old Near St George Ranch
Harold B. Johnson aged 15 was killed instantly when a wagon wheel struck a small bridge and he was thrown under the horses while riding with a companion. He was son of F. C. Johnson, a Sidney G A R veteran. Short services followed at the family home with Rev. Henry Zinnnecker assisting before the journey to Ipswich, South Dakota for burial.
