Livestock sale at Cheyenne County fair down in 23rd year

The 23rd annual 4 Hey Livestock Sale at Cheyenne County Fairgrounds posted nearly $17,000 less in total receipts than last year, with 16 hogs 35 market lambs and 89 cattle sold for $49,130.21. Hog and lamb counts rose while cattle fell by 20, stride on beef receipts totaling $39,816 and averages around $52 per hundred. Grand and reserve champions traded at $70 to $102.50 per hundred, with buyers including Sidney Safeway, First State Bank Lodgepole, Herggert Milling, and Jack & Jill of Sidney.

I 80 Celebration Names More Chairmen
