The 1965 Fort Sidney Days parade features George Coulter as Colonel and a line of past colonels, State Senator George Fleming and wife Sylvia, Nebr ASKAl and Conestoga Wagon drawn by Neb and Raska, Shrine Scooter Patrol, two clown groups, and 58 entries. Route travels 10th to Jackson, ending at 12th and Jackson. farm equipment entries are missing this year to encourage floats.

Two 15 year old girls Candy Radtke and Bonnie Fehringer carried from Cinema Service a print of Deadwood 76 and Indian Paint by horse to the Fox Theatre on the outskirts of Fort Sidney. The Technicolor westerns open Sunday aligning with Fort Sidney Days and the Cheyenne County Fair with the first 100 patrons receiving autographed pictures of Johnny Crawford or Tonto. Fox Manager Vern Austin organized the booking to fit the old western theme.
