VA War Orphans Education program to train Neb. youths
Nearly 200 young men and women in Nebraska are expected to enter fall training under the VA War Orphans Education Program. Since 1956 about 400 Nebraskans have received training. Eligible children are 18 to 23, may marry, need a high school diploma or enter a trade school, and can receive up to 3 years of schooling with monthly stipends up to 110 dollars.
