Two Plead Guilty In Corn Theft Case
In Cheyenne County Court Saturday two Ordville men Wesley Jacobs and Anthon Berry pleaded guilty to petit larceny for entering Henry Haupt's west Sidney farm and stealing about $2 worth of corn. County Judge C W Smith fined each $10 and costs and ordered double restitution to Haupt.

North Platte Man Held On Charge Of Larceny By Bailee
Glen Slankard of North Platte, 38, pleaded innocent in Cheyenne County Court to larceny by bailee. He allegedly took a 1950 model automobile owned by Max Stone and drove toward Salt Lake City. Sidney pool robbed of 25 dollars in receipts
The Sidney Municipal Swimming Pool was broken into Friday night. Thieves climbed the fence into the office and took $25 in cash from a drawer where receipts were stored under ticket stubs. Stubs were scattered across the floor and the pool was to close for the season next Sunday.
