Two minor crashes occurred in Sidney and were investigated by the Sidney police. Gary D. Lacey of Kimball stopped for a red light at 13th Ave and Illinois St when he was rear ended by Francis J. Schmitt of Sidney. Schmitt’s car damage was listed as 21 315. A second incident involved Dion M. Cawthra parked by the Bike Roller Rink being bumped by Robert E. Farmer of Sidney with no damage estimate reported.
