Blue Jackets Rover Train Passes Marines Through Sidney
A special train carrying United States Marines paused in Sidney on Tuesday morning, giving spectators a view of the blue uniforms as the men stretched their legs before continuing to the Rhode Island coast. A barn on J W McDaniel’s property burned Wednesday night, a large loss despite insurance. a nearby small building caught fire but was saved by night effort and water pressure.

At a Methodist church Y M C A meeting led by state worker Mrs Hattie Edgar raised nearly 100 for the war fund.
