Four cars passed without aid before a State Patrolman arrived. Bloomhuff was treated at Kimball hospital. Damage to the 1951 Henry J. car was estimated at 450 dollars.

Mrs. M. M. Herbert 79 longtime Cheyenne County resident and wife of Ft Sidney veteran died at her Sidney home after a year of illness. Funeral at St Patrick’s Church with burial in the family plot. Survivors include her widower and three children with many grandchildren and a sister. Born in Moravia she came to Blue Hill Nebraska at age twelve and moved to Sidney in 1887.
