Robert Foster a 22 year old man from the west Sidney Draw district, employed by Clark Fuller, was taken to the hospital Monday after Dr R Roche diagnosed spinal meningitis. Deputy Sheriff Barton Taylor quarantined both Fuller farms Wednesday morning. Fuller was in Sidney when the signs were posted and learned he was under quarantine.

Kenneth Christensen of Sunol was instantly struck by lightning Saturday afternoon while working on a farm near Arlington for an uncle. His father, Martin Christensen, took him home that evening. He was buried next Wednesday at Lodge Pole from the Methodist church. He was the youngest of four brothers.

Juedes Farm Sale Planned Near Gurley Monday
The Theodore Juedes family will move from Cheyenne county and hold a farm sale one mile west of Gurley on Monday August 16. Sale items include farm machinery household goods 10 head of cattle and a pony. An advertisement with the complete list appears in today’s Telegraph. The Juedes have lived in the county about 24 years and are noted as substantial respected citizens who plan to settle in western Oregon.

New Dam And Arch Bridge Erected at Lodge Pole Creek
Construction of the new dam and arch bridge over Lodge Pole creek at Legion park is underway. The contract was awarded to Carl Christ for $1130.
