Bingo To Be Offered At Cheyenne County Fair By Jaycees
Jaycees of Sidney will operate the bingo games at the Cheyenne County Fair for three days Thursday Friday and Saturday under a state licensed program. Rules prohibit Sunday play limit to 21 and older, cap 30 cents per game and 10 percent of gross to county with prizes at 5 percent and 40 percent to operator.

Mrs. Darline J. Vaughn 62 longtime Potter resident died Sunday at a Cheyenne hospital after surgery. Funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. Potter Methodist Church with Rev. C. D. Hoagland presiding. Burial in Potter Cemetery. Gehrig and Son Funeral Home in charge. Born November 7, 1896 in Columbus Nebraska she was daughter of Bert and Rachel Pinney. Survived by husband Fred W. Vaughn a daughter Maxine Suckstorf two grandchildren one brother Wilbur Pinney and three sisters Mrs. W W Witterding Mrs. Mabel Hickstein and Mrs. Ruby Gronquist.

Two-Car Crash Near Sidney No Injuries Reported
Passengers in two vehicles escaped injury in a minor collision about 2 p.m. Sunday one-and-a-half miles east of Sidney. Ruth Huckfeldt of Torrington left the highway turning car. Jenny Miller of Dayton Ohio passed when struck. Damage to Huckfeldt’s trailer and Miller’s right side was estimated at $150 each.

Mrs. Chryst Dies At 56 Funeral Is Set Here
Mrs. Douglas Chryst 56 died Sunday in a Scottsbluff hospital after surgery. She had run the Rainbow Cafe in Sidney since 1939. Funeral Tuesday at 2 30 p.m. in Craig Mortuary with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include husband Dale, a son, a daughter and three sons, three stepchildren, nine grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters, and many relatives.

Oscar Bennett of Sidney, who lost a leg in 1957, has received an artificial limb and retraining through Nebraska Division of Rehabilitation Services. Bennett, now 76, returned to work at Maddox Trailer Sales after gate training and prosthetic fitting, with praise for the Sidney hospital and Amputee Clinic staff.

Dix Ronald Scott McGowan three died unexpectedly Saturday on an errand in Kimball County autopsy showed accidental swallow of a garden pea. Cousin James McGowan 11 aided him before he collapsed burial at Dix Cemetery with Rev. S. G. Williams officiating. He was born Oct 3 1955 in Sidney. Survivors include parents Thomas N McGowan Sr 15 year old Thomas Jr Virginia Yvonne and grandparents Mr and Mrs Ed Miles of Sidney.
