Peetz School prepares for fall registration and season opener
Peetz Colorado anticipates 160 students registering for the upcoming fall term starting August 28. Superintendent Merrill E. Tregoning will oversee four new teachers alongside ten returning staff. One business education position remains unfilled. The football team opens at Grover on September 4. Returning teachers include Kathryn Raleigh Ruth Sunberg Dorothy Gunderson Viola Bouldin Merna Meyer for grades 1-5, plus Frank Whitely Jonell Roberts Gaynell Nichols Shirley Vandreau Eloise Shannon Betty Debus for junior and senior high subjects and roles. Five Are New On Faculty At Lorenzo School
The Lorenzo school year begins September 4 with five new faculty led by Carl D. Brown as high school principal and English teacher. New staff include Nancy Brown teaching math and art, Herb Uthoff in science and industrial arts, Larry Franke in business education and drivers education, and Mrs. Louis Newmen teaching first and second grades. Returning: Kaye Plenger social studies and librarian, Leona Bauman fifth and sixth grades, Joanne Johnson third and fourth grades, Marie Johnson kindergarten, with Richard Plenger continuing as superintendent.
