33 Year Old Potter Mother and Baby Die
A 33 year old Potter woman Mrs Donald Bickel died early Wednesday ten minutes after delivering a stillborn daughter. She suffered a severe heart attack Tuesday while under oxygen in a local hospital. Gus Narjes cattle drew a Denver all time high price with twenty six choice steers selling for 2675 dollars per hundredweight on the market. The 26,565 pounds total averaged 1021 pounds per steer and were raised and fattened on the Narjes farm south of Sidney. Narjes plans another car of steers for sale next week as Cheyenne County farmers show topnotch production beyond wheat.

REA Gets Permit To Build 124 Miles Of Lines
The Rural Electric Company of Pine Bluffs Wyoming gained state railway commission approval to construct 124 miles of lines across Kimball Banner and Cheyenne counties with Cheyenne county lines in the Potter neighborhood. Systems For Discharge Of Non-Volunteer Enlisted Personnel
War Department discloses the demobilization rules for non volunteer enlisted personnel. Non volunteer enlisted men with 20 months service as of September 30 1945 will be separated by that date. Beginning October 1 1945 those with 18 months service as of November 30 will be eligible and will be separated by November 30. From December 1945 onward any month an enlistment reaches 18 months the member will be separated by the last day of that month. Women follow the same criteria until September 30 1945. WAC personnel whose terms expire by June 30 1946 are urged in July to volunteer through June 30 1947 or for the duration of the emergency plus six months.

Officials in charge of the extension clinic for crippled children announced a definite postponement in Chadron due to the current polio epidemic.
