Construction on the new $15,000 Burlington depot at Sidney is moving quickly with stuccoing expected next week or ten days. Completion is projected in four to six weeks. The signal tower is being relocated across the tracks this week. Interior work is extensive but the end result should make Sidney proud as a leading station in the region with many improvements underway.

The annual Sidney Easter Star picnic was held at Krueger’s Lake on Wednesday afternoon and evening with about 150 Star members and their families. Indies and children played games swam and rowed. Boy Injured After Horse Kick Near Bronson
Max Anderson nine, son of Mr and Mrs C S Anderson, sustained a depressed skull fracture three and a half inches long when kicked on the head by a horse two miles west of Bronson. He was taken to Cheyenne hospital by Dr Harry Mantor and his parents, operated on within five hours, and reported not much improved by Wednesday night.

Woman Suffers Broken Arm In Sidne y Car Accident

Pilot Yager Lands at Sidney Field During High Wind
A night air mail aviator from Cheyenne to North Platte landed safely at the Sidney emergency field around 10 p.m. Wednesday as high winds forced the stop. He then departed after the wind eased.
