New ACS Voting Procedure Set Up
On June 19 1954 new Agriculture Department rules revise county and community ASC election operations. A county election board presided by the county agent with SCS, FHA, and farm organization heads will designate three individuals to serve on the community election committee. The panel will nominate nominees and judge voter eligibility while tallying ballots as boards meet across counties this week.

Commissioners Buy 2 New Trucks Car And Patrol Grader
Cheyenne County Commissioners approved purchasing two new trucks a county car a grader and 300 grader blades in regular session. Kokjer Motors submitted the low bid for the two ton models and car with trade ins leaving truck cost at 2990 and car at 950. The patrol grader was bought from Cornhusker Equipment Co for 9438.40 after trade in. Blades totaled 2097 bringing overall equipment cost to 15475.40.
