Lincoln state board of equalization raised cattle and horse values in Cheyenne county by 25 percent. Average assessed cattle value reported was 2.93 per head and horses 8.83. North Platte Tribune reports track laying on the Union Pacific North River branch has resumed after months of delay. About 850 workers, including 350 foreign laborers, are assigned to four squads to surface, lay steel, and unload material. Track to Lewellen within a week and Oshkosh soon after, with Bridgeport as terminal until river side decision.

School Bonds Carry in Local Vote for Addition

Walter C. McManus believed to be from Sidney Nebraska died after being run over by a train near Cheyenne Wyoming. He lay beside Union Pacific trucks twenty seven miles west of Cheyenne with fatal injuries and died at St Johns hospital after a night of injuries.
