Bonds Approved for County Court House and Jail
State Auditor Barton approved the history of the recent special election in the county where 30 000 bonds were voted for the new courthouse and jail and will register the bonds on or after July 1st when they begin bearing interest. Freight Wreck at Potter Ruins Fruit Train
A fruit train of about forty two cars wrecked near Potter Wednesday at one o clock due to a broken journal on the twentieth car. Seven cars were ditched. two car loads of oranges damaged. cabbages lumber and a sugar car derailed with varying damage. Estimated loss six thousand dollars. Cheyenne and Sidney wreckers took two days to clear the scene. no injuries reported.

Local buggy accident injures Sidney couple near auto
Mr and Mrs David Meyer riding in a buggy left Sidney Thursday afternoon. A frightened horse pulled the reins unevenly causing the buggy to upset in the path of an approaching auto.
