A 23-student clerical class is underway, auto and tractor mechanics advance in production, food service awaits federal approval, and overall interest remains high under Coordinator Joe Schaf.

Plans for new courses under 1966 manpower bill
Supt. Russell J. Pedersen says tentative additions to courses and sections arise from a recently signed bill by President Johnson. The act preserves 100 percent federal aid for manpower training through July 1, 1966, with a shift to 90 percent federal and 10 percent local or state funds until July 1, 1969. The 10 percent may be matched by services or in kind, possibly counting Sioux Army Depot facilities toward the local share.

Open House Planned at Sidney Occupational Training Center

Oil gas lease sale set for May 4 at state capitol
