Mystery Dynamite Box Found Near North Hill

A fifty pound dynamite box labeled Dupont Powder Herculean No 2 was found two inches below the surface on the north hill near Stromsberg Nebraska. Elmer and Maurice Anderson reported it after discovering a dark earth patch while walking the bluffs. George Fast Injured In Pit Accident At Round House

In a foggy night at the round house George Fast, a night hustler, fell into an ash pit after failing to clear it while leaving his stall. His assistant Martin Baker heard groans and summoned help. Three ribs were broken with internal injuries and leg bruising, but he slowly improves under care.
