Drilling Firm Fined $600 On Five Counts
Sterling Drilling Co this morning was assessed a total fine of $600 and costs in Cheyenne County Court. Two trucks operated by the drilling firm were stopped yesterday afternoon at Potter by the Nebraska Safety Patrol. Five criminal counts were alleged. Fines were $250 on two counts of over gross weight, $250 on two counts of overweight on tandem axles and $100 on one count of overweight on axle.

Farm Landmark to be Sold at Auction in Sidney

Funeral services for Mrs. John VanMark 53 who died this morning in Cheyenne County Memorial Hospital will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Craig Mortuary. Rev.
