Union Pacific executives from Omaha to Grand Island and Cheyenne toured the division on Tuesday and Wednesday. Officials included H R Bummel General Superintendent Omahi Nebraska and J P Cary Supt Nebraska Division with others from Council Bluffs Columbus North Platte and North Platte yardmasters. A W Woodruff Supt Cheyenne returned from France to lead the inspection then traveled east to North Platte with Division Engineer E R Jorden and other Wyoming roadmasters. Woodruff’s first trip since returning drew praise as he is well liked for his candid word and leadership.
