The Associated Commercial Clubs of Western Nebraska held their second gathering at the Sidney courthouse on April 14 to align the 26 member towns and review ten town-advancing actions. W C Rundin presided with L O Fundingsland welcome, W D Fisher coordinating as Alliance secretary. Fatal Train Crash Near Pine Bluff Wyoming

Three Fires Hit Fifth Ward This Week
Three Windsor fires struck Ward Five on separate evenings this week. Saturday night the Burlington depot upper floor fire started from a faulty gas jet in the kitchen range, damaging furniture and building about 600 dollars partly insured. Wednesday another blaze north of the depot damaged the Baker residence roof due to a defective flue, with all furniture moved out and no one at home. Thursday a fire threatened Mike’s boarding car on the Burlington chute facility, with hopes this ends the string of incidents.

American Bank Plans Major Expansion This Spring
