Prairie fire damages Cheyenne county grazing and town fire

A prairie fire started near the Quinn ranch about twelve miles northwest of Sidney during Thursday’s high winds, burning about twenty five sections of grazing land and threatening north divide ranch houses. A separate blaze damaged W H Kellams’ home in Sidney, with three to four hundred dollars in damages. Kinkaid Land Bill Favored by House Committee

Local Resident Dies After Stroke at 49

Janes H. Raymond brother of Henry Robert and Frank Raymond died yesterday morning from paralysis stroke. He was born in Hartford Conn forty nine years ago and lived here with his brothers for five years. Funeral is from the Raymond home with interment in the city cemetery.
