A Horrible Accident Involving a Roundhouse Engine

A Monday 10 oclock accident in Sidney Nebraska left C F Wheeler dead after engine No 033 backed toward the roundhouse and struck him near the passenger depot. Witnesses described the ghastly scene, an inquest followed, and the jury ruled Wheeler died accidentally due to the engine passing over his body.
