Commissioners of Cheyenne County Nebraska Meet to Approve Bonds
The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners met in Sidney on March 80 1692 with Crigler Vanderhoof and Frame present along with County Clerk D McAleese The minutes record approval of bonds for JI B Pussey and O J Ioffman as justices of the peace and acceptance of a resignation for J B Ilaiston The board reconsidered earlier vacancies in Redington Weir and Lisco precincts and instructed the clerk to prepare necessary books and blanks Claims allowed include payments to remove Mrs Mary Hearry and for messages and water The consent roads petition by Robert Henry et al was approved with two roads to run two miles along section lines near the Belmont irrigation canal The treasurer was instructed to reserve 1500 for school district re-endorsement and Snow Bros & Co claim for 76 63 against Cheyenne County was denied The board adjourned with the usual signatures.
