Oldenburg Day and Charlotte Wales of Sidney wed Glenn Oldenburg son of Arthur and Mrs. Oldenburg in Holdrege Nebraska at the Presbyterian Manse on March 19. Rev. Donald Dean officiated before a candlelit fireplace. Attendants included Leigh Pearson of Holdrege. The couple plans to reside in Holdrege where the groom works at Standard Service Station.

Mrs Patrick Deir welcomed Trinity Lutheran Womens Missionary Society members Tuesday evening with lesson by Mrs Arnold Braasch. Frieda Larson and Esther Swanson joined the society for an Easter program. A dainty lunch was served. A Stated Providence Chapter Eastern Star meeting followed Wednesday in the Masonic Hall with Worthy Matron Mrs Harold Bond and Worthy Patron Frank Longan presiding. About forty members and five guests attended. Mrs Robert Wait presented the Easter program. Mrs G E Kennedy played a piano solo When I Survey The Wondrous Cross. Mrs H C Craig recited the Easter Story from Luke 24, and the gathering closed with Christ the Lord Is Risen Today.
