Zigler Rites Held Tuesday At Local Funeral
Funeral services for Ralph L. Zigler 56 guard at the Sioux Ordnance Depot were held Tuesday at the Craig Mortuary. He died Thursday at a local hospital after a period of illness. Army Deserter Arrested in City Ends Months of Suspicion
Robert Benson alias Robert James, 25, Traynor Iowa, surrendered to Cheyenne County authorities after being questioned he admitted desertion from the army. He was taken to Fort Warren Wyoming to face desertion charges arising from service during the war years. Benson had reportedly deserted a year ago from Ogden Utah and had worked at Kimball before coming here six months ago to operate a local cafe.

Fossil Jawbone Found in Nebraska Gravel Pit

Grease Blaze Damages Cafe at Waddell’s Cafe
