Jesse Meyers, 75, of Sidney died today at Memorial Hospital in Sidney. Survived by four daughters Frances Rezanina Jessie Walkinshaw Ruby Held and Shirley Larson and one son William. Funeral arrangements pending with Craig Mortuary in charge.

Record Breaking Sale At Sidney Livestock Pavilion
Fat calves brought up to 26.10 per hundred at The Sidney Livestock Sales Pavilion special stocker feeder sale last Saturday as close to 1500 head of cattle passed through the ring. Prices for all grades were higher and the sale was the largest since opening with April 24 possibly setting a new record. Listings are taken for the regular sale next Saturday April 17 with early listings urged from top growers in Wyoming Colorado and Nebraska. Hog top was 17.20, about 80 cents off the Denver market top. A firm hog market was indicated and another sale is planned for Saturday April 24.

X Ray Unit Returns for Final Day in Sidney
Dr. Del Koch announced that Wednesday April 14 is the last day for the free Chest X-ray unit in downtown Sidney in front of the McDonald store. About 300 people per day have been X-rayed since it arrived. The unit will not return to Sidney for likely six years. Volunteers are thanked for its success.
