Sgt Burk of Company F 8th Infantry Ft Russell Wyoming and Miss Alice Willis of Cheyenne were married at the bride’s sister’s home in Cheyenne on Wednesday April 9. The bride is known in Sidney where she lived several years. The groom has just returned from service in the Philippines after two years overseas. The Telegram wishes them happiness.

Separator Sale Halted Over Unauthorized Bid

Deaths and local notes from Cheyenne county
Pioneer resident John Thompson of Union Valley precinct died at his home on April 9. He was born in Buffalo New York on April 1 1836 and came to Cheyenne county sixteen years ago leaving a wife and ten children. Funeral services were led by Rev Earle at the Episcopal church. Also reported is the death of Mrs P T Higgins of Clara Nebraska after several weeks illness. John Snodgrass of Springfield, a former county commissioner, renewed acquaintances in Sidney. Sidney Drug Co premises were renovated in spring style and Mrs A D Stowitte and Mrs F C Beebe attended Montauk ranch Thursday.
