Two Accidents Reported in Sidney Cars Damaged
Sidney police investigated two two car crashes. At 5:15 p m on 11th Avenue between Jackson and King Streets Mrs Milt Handsel backing from the curb struck Ann Schaaf riding north on Newton Avenue. No injuries and about 25 dollars damage to Handsel and 175 to Schaaf. Earlier at 8:05 a m near 10th and Elm Eva Sautner eastbound on Elm hit a truck driven by Charles Thompson from 15th Avenue. No injuries and about 200 dollars damage to Sautner and 170 to Thompson.

REA Loan Granted for Highline Electric Service Area
Congressman Dave Martin announced a 91 765 000 Rural Electrification Administration loan to Highline Electric Association of Holyoke Colorado. The funds will extend service to seven southwest Nebraska counties Chase Deuel Dundy Hayes Hitchcock Perkins and Red Willow. The loan covers 163 miles of new distribution line and transmission facilities and system upgrades benefiting about 474 000 dollars in Nebraska area service.

Two men injured in a one car crash on a curve south of Dalton near Walton. Driver Sidney Van Aelstyn 27 swerved to avoid dogs, car rolled into ditch. I 80 Spur Work Okayed At Chappell
Initial work begins March 4 on grading and graveling 8.9 miles of Interstate 80 from west of the Chappell interchange to west of Lodgepole interchange. The remains of LeRoy Doyle aged 30 killed north of Dalton on March 28 were sent to Burke South Dakota for funeral rites and burial in Gregory South Dakota. He leaves a widow and five children.
