Mailplane Wrecked After Rocky Draw Crash West of Sidney
A mailplane en route from Omaha to Cheyenne forced landed in heavy fog at Sidney field at 3 35 Thursday morning and, after a brief escape, crashed into the rocks five miles southwest of the city. Pilot Wagner escaped with minor injuries and was later removed to Cheyenne. Mechanics reported a total loss and the wreck likely moved to Omaha.
