Sidney Girls Track Opens Season at Kimball Invite

The Sidney girls track team starts their season with a trip to Kimball for the Kimball Invitational. Twenty seven athletes are out, with twelve returning lettermen. Coaches cite lack of depth as the main weakness but praise several standouts including Debbie Rowe, Pam Selzer, Tammy Fish, Kathy Schrock, and Beth Gretch. Sidney hosts an invitational next on Thursday, April 7.

Sidney High Track Team Heads Into A Young Season

Sidney High Chapter NHS Trip and 1977 Initiation Tea

The Sidney High Chapter of National Honor Society traveled to Denver on Friday March 25 visiting Botanical Gardens Laserium and Yum Yum Tree for supper and Cinderella City for shopping. The 1977 Initiation and Installation Tea was held Tuesday in the High School Cafeteria. Graduating seniors listed include Joyce Borcher Penny Christy Scott Easterly and others. Sophomores tapped into NHS include Duane Ellis Kevin Hammond and others. New officers for 77-78 are Eric Stasch president Kelly Houser vice president Tammi Weber secretary Pam Selzer treasurer and Tammy Fish historian.
