The sixth quarterly meeting of the Eastern Idaho Press Club in Pocatello drew 48 members and about 40 prominent citizens for a banquet and program. Delegates traveled from Montpelier to Mountain Home and Ashton to Buhl, with tours to American Falls and lectures by James H. Wallis, James Brady, and others on civic progress and press duties. A morning business session discussed constitutional amendments and rates, followed by a grand banquet at Bannock hotel with a formal toast and speeches emphasizing the press’s role in public opinion and regional growth.
