State Highway Dept Distributing Third Quarter Funds
The State Highway Department began distributing the third quarter Motor Vehicle Highway Fund receipts of $42,255,054 to Michigan 83 counties and 510 cities and villages. New Name For Fertilizer Firm Announced
The Shepherd operation will be known as Mid-State Fertilizer Company. Facilities for Klein's Premium Plant Foods production and storage are under construction and slated to open around year’s start. Jim Parsons, manager, says storage will hold about 3,000 tons of bagged and bulk fertilizer for sale delivery or application.
