The Shepherd High School Cafe area was full as athletic teams were honored and Northwood coach Louis B. Juillerat spoke. The MVP award went to Jim Kyser chosen by both football and basketball players, presented by coaches John Harris and Duane Rinckey with the Argus Trophy.

Moor Couple to Celebrate 70th Anniversary Open House
Mr and Mrs John Moor longtime Winn area residents mark their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house May 10 from 2 00 to 7 00 PM at the Lansing home of their daughter Mrs John W Curtiss on West Willow Highway. They still own a Winn farm but live with their daughter due to ill health. The couple moved to the area from Ohio for Mrs Moor at age two. no gifts requested.
