Senior Trip Recap Through Washington and New York
A group of 44 seniors from Shepherd recounts a weeklong trip starting May 14. They travel by Mercury Lines to Detroit, ride to Washington and New York City visiting the Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Lincoln Memorial, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Iwo Jima statue, Mount Vernon, Arlington, and more. They tour museums, ride Circle Line, Macy’s, Yankee Stadium, Radio City Music Hall, and end with lessons on planning and safety from sponsors.
