Auxiliary 15th District Wins Convention Awards
The 15th District of the Women's Legion Auxiliary won first prize for finest table decoration at the convention dinner in the Biltmore Bowl Los Angeles. The theme traced Death gradually from Ox-carts to early trains and modern airplanes. Delegates including Mrs Horwith, Jane Hahi, and Nelgfelen Hobson attended. City Council resolutions on parking limits near Central Avenue and on Jmes net were passed by a tight vote. Frank G. Shaw, City Clerk, reported.
