First Regular Meeting Shafter PTA Held at Cafeteria
The Shafter High School Parent Teachers Association held its first regular meeting for the 1958 59 school year in the school cafeteria on Tuesday September 16. Mrs Leonard Aede presided over the 7:30 pm session with budget and finance reports, a legislative action update, student body constitution details, and remarks by Don Murfin. About 226 attendees attended and the next meeting is set for October 21 with back to school night activities.
